Podporujeme náhradné rodiny, aby každé dieťa mohlo povedať: "Doma je tam, kde je mama, otec ja." Kto sú ľudia, ktorí pracujú pre nadáciu Rozum a Cit? Sú ľudia, ktorým nie je ľahostajní osud opustených detí a rozhodli sa pomôcť zmeniť ich život.
Hlavným poslaním nadácie Rozum a Cit je pomáhať opusteným deťom a umožniť im prežiť normálne detstvo uprostred rodiny. Tieto deti nie z vlastnej viny žijú v detských domovoch, ktoré však nie sú ozajstným domovom. Pre opustené deti je jediným riešením náhradná osobná starostlivosť. Potrebujú vyrastať v rodine, lebo v nej majú šancu dostať viac ako v detskom domove. Náhradná rodina sa stáva ich novou, vlastnou rodinou a poskytuje im zázemie, bezpečie a istotu, že niekam patria.

The principal mission of the Rozum a cit foundation
is to help abandoned children to give them a chance to spend normal childhood
in a family. At no fault of their own, these children live in childrens houses
that cannot make a real home.
A substitute family care is the only solution for such unwanted children. They
need to grow in a family, because only the family can give them more than they
would get in a childrens house. There are families in our surrounding which
open arms and receive these children as their own. The substitute families
become a family for the abandoned children, giving them a feeling that there is
a place they belong to.
